This section is open to all law students. Everything offered here is free of charge and there are no conditions attached to accessing it.

Legal Notes on Request

If you are a law student and need notes or research material on a specific legal topic for your studies, academic writing, or moot court preparation, you are welcome to write to us at info.alp@akaarislaw.com with your requirement. We will respond with whatever we are able to put together on the subject. There is no formal process and no eligibility requirement. Just write to us and we will do our best to help.

Our Courses

We offer two courses for law students and interns. Both are free of charge and open to any law student in India regardless of institution or year of study.

Practical Aspects of Legal Practice

This course runs every month and covers the practical realities of legal work that are rarely taught in a classroom. It addresses how matters are handled from start to finish, how legal offices function, how documents are drafted, how courts and tribunals work on a day to day basis, and the practical skills that the profession expects but formal education does not always provide. It is intended for students who want an honest picture of what legal practice involves before they enter it.

Legal Research, Writing & Publication

This course covers the fundamentals of legal research, how to identify and use reliable sources, how to construct a legal argument in writing, how to meet the standards expected of published legal work, and how to navigate the process of getting a piece of writing into the right forum. These are skills that matter throughout a legal career and this course is an attempt to make them more accessible to students earlier on.

To join either course, write to us at info.alp@akaarislaw.com with your name, year of study, institution, and the course you wish to enrol in. We will confirm your participation and share the relevant details from there.

Students interning with Akaaris Law Partners are automatically enrolled in both courses for the duration of their time with the firm.

Both courses are free and will remain so.
